National project “Business Idea Commercialization Program” which is aimed to build a new industry in Fukushima starts recruiting participants from April 26.

On April 26th, recruiting participants for the “Business Idea Commercialization Program (Administration: Fukushima Innovation Coast Promotion Organization, hereinafter “Innove-Organization”. Operating agency: CREEK & RIVER Co., Ltd.) which Tsucrea join in the operational management, started. management. This program aims to commercialize technology seeds in 15 municipalities (hereinafter referred to as “Innove area”) such as Hamadori area in Fukushima prefecture.

■What is “Business Idea Commercialization Program”?
This is a program of “Fukushima Tech Create”, a supporting program for companies and individuals who is starting a business in the “Innove region” by Innove-Organization. The “Innove-area¹” is a designated area which industries have damaged due to the Great East Japan Earthquake and the nuclear disaster.
Instructors and Experienced mentors will conduct workshops and individual mentoring for individuals and companies who is willing to start a business in 6 priority fields² with the aim of building a new industrial base in these areas, and leading to commercialization.
Adopters also have the opportunity to announce the results of the program in front of venture capital and large companies, and can build a network.

【Content】
(1) Hold a workshop to brush up commercialization ideas.
(2) Individual mentoring by mentors who has various experience in supporting commercialization.
(3) Pitch event for venture capital and large companies.

Selected companies and individuals has options to apply for subsidies of up to 10 million yen (for prototype development, market research costs, etc.), and can receive support from Fukushima Tech Create supporters such as government agencies, financial institutions, VCs, universities to accelerate their business.
